The
annual meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at the Indoor Range
at the Fairgrounds.
Social will start at 6:00 pm with food served at 6:30 pm.
There is no charge.
The meeting will start at 7:15 pm.
We will get the business meeting completed as quickly as possible to have
time to shoot.
Bring your family.
Please bring any horns, pictures, and anything else of interest to the
meeting. With
the new balcony completed, there is room to display and visit.
Horns and pictures will create a great atmosphere.
We
will be opening the building for shooting Friday evenings December 16, 23 and
30, 2005 from 7 – 9 pm. If you
have an access card, there is no charge. Otherwise,
we will charge a nominal fee of $2.00 to help with lights, heat etc.
We will also be working to wrap up the construction projects on Wednesday
evenings, December 7, 14, & 21, 2005. We
can use all kinds of help from painting to clean up to finalizing some of the
construction. It is looking great.
We have had a dedicated core group and a lot of improvements were
accomplished.
Winter
league will start January 11, 2006. Registration
will begin at 6:30 pm with shooting starting at 7:00 pm.
It will be four person teams and league will run 10 weeks.
If you want to shoot league show up with a team or show up and find or
form a team. We will have sign up
available at the annual meeting also so you can locate others interested in
shooting who may not be on a team yet. We
will set up for league Sunday, January 8, 2006 at 1 pm.
We
have our shoots set for the year with a Super Bowl Shoot February 4-5, 2006.
We will be discussing an informal banquet for the shoot.
Our spring shoot will be March 18-19, 2006
The
Annual Meeting agenda will be posted on the website www.missouribasinbowmen.com
along with additional information for the meeting. We will have the election of officers and directors.
If you are interested in a position on the board or as an officer let a
current officer or board member know. You
can also be nominated from the floor. Our
outgoing Directors are Dean Johnson, Curt Horsley, and Jody Smith.
We will also be discussing a 300 type league and discuss shooting 2
arrows on the first round of league to shorten the time.
With the new improvements that may be a way to have some free time
shooting and time to socialize at the range.
We will also have a revised set of by-laws.
